Espionage stations broadcasts coded messages to agents or embassies out in the field. They are both elusive & intriguing in their purpose & style and offer a rare opportunity to eavesdrop on the world's spy activity.
To date, the 'one time' pad method used to decrypt messages still offers one of the most secure means of communication. Some of the stations have begun to experiment with digital modes, but the concept is still the same.
All stations are named according to Enigma's control listings.
These broadcasts were recorded using a Ten Tec RX-340 receiver & DX Engineering's 4 Sq. system using Audacity software through an M-Audio Delta 66 interface via the Ten Tec's DC-Coupled audio tap for SSB or Sherwood Engineering's SE-3 for AM. Also, the majority of these stations were recorded from North East Florida. Some of these I do not have exact dates/times/frequencies, but will add the info later if found.
